The Brisbane-born Aussie has started life with his new club in dream fashion

Australian midfielder Kenneth Dougall has taken just two minutes to score in his first appearance for new English side Barnsley.

The 25-year-old sealed a move from Dutch outfit Sparta Rotterdam during the week and quickly found the back of the net on Saturday against Hull City in a friendly.

After just two minutes in a Barnsley shirt, Dougall was found at the top of the box and showed great composure to fire into the bottom corner.

Despite that early lead, the Tyles would have to settle for a 1-1 draw with Hull as Dougall played just over an hour in his debut for the club.

Barnsley will play in League One this season after being relegated from the Championship in their last campaign with their new Aussie midfielder arriving after a solid personal season with Sparta which saw him play 29 games and score one goal.

Dougall began his senior career with Brisbane City in 2013 before moving to the Netherlands with Telstar a year later and not long after making the switch to Rotterdam.
