Hunt laments Bidvest Wits' hard run-in

Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt believes that they have the toughest run-in compared to their PSL title rivals Cape Town City and Sundowns.

“We’ve got a helluva programme, we’ve got to play on Thursday again, (Orlando) Pirates didn’t play and we’ve got to play, and then we’ve got to play on Sunday again,” Hunt said.

“It’s going to be tough, tough run-in. We’re losing players as you can see, by one, two, three every game so we’ll have to regroup and start (preparations) again,” he continued.

Daine Klate and Granwald Scott will miss the clash against Pirates at the Bidvest Stadium on Thursday as they are suspended.

The Students' remaining matches are against Pirates, Maritzburg United, Free State Stars, Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs.

“We’ve got the toughest run-in. There’s no doubt about it. Out of Cape Town City and Sundowns we’ve got the toughest run-in. I can’t see any of them losing another game,” Hunt concluded.
