Harun Shakava warns against complacency but confident Gor Mahia will beat Yanga

Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava is confident that they will seal victory against Yanga on Sunday.

K’Ogalo will go into the match as favourites after downing the Tanzanian outfit 4-0 in the first leg. Shakava now believes that his side has what it takes to progress to the next stage but again it has to start on Sunday.

“This is going to be a tough game; we are not expecting a walk in the park. We have to give our best in all departments and ensure we get goals. The main thing is to try and finish the business earlier and play our game.

“It is a tough group yes but we have so far done well. The main thing is to ensure we win matches and avoid conceding goals.”

Gor Mahia is second in the Group with five points, two behind USM Alger, who will play third placed Rayon Sports at home. The first two teams will qualify to the quarters and as it stands, USM and Gor Mahia are clear favourites.
