Graham Arnold snubs Ronaldo and Salah: How Australian trio voted for FIFA's Best award

Luka Modric has been voted FIFA's The Best of 2018 with three Australians having their say on the final outcome.

A global panel consisting of 173 different countries saw Socceroos skipper Mile Jedinak, Australian coach Graham Arnold and journalist Steve Larkin all cast votes.

Arnold's voting was particularly interesting as he nominated Modric at number one, before placing Antoine Griezmann at second and Kevin De Bruyne at third - ignoring finalists Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah.

Jedinak's allocation was in line with the wider results as he voted for Modric, Ronaldo and Salah in that order.

Larkin meanwhile, selected Ronaldo at number one, with Modric in second and Kylian Mbappe in third.

Elsewhere, Australian Riley McGree missed out on the Puskas with Salah's strike for Liverpool against Everton reigning supreme
