Coach Dylan Kerr says his strikers should be more clinical if they are to defend the league title

Gor Mahia played out to a barren draw against Tusker FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Wednesday.

This happened despite K’Ogalo creating numerous chances, including a late one initiated by Meddie Kagere, but Ivorian striker Ephraim Guikan failed to hit the back of the net from three yards out.

Coach Dylan Kerr says his strikers should be more clinical if they are to defend the league title. “There have been horrendous misses by the best players in the world, it happens.

"Somehow, I feel he (Guikan) should have done better from three meters out. How he hit the cross bar still puzzles me, a miss like that can cost me my job.”

“But he was good, always dangerous on the ball, apart from that miss; we dominated and I feel we should have won,” Kerr told Goal.

Gor Mahia is currently top of the table with ten points after four matches.
