Ghanaian Isaac Oduro says he s proud after he was appointed AFC Leopards assistant captain.
Oduro will assist Robinson Kamura who took over from Duncan Otieno. Otieno left Ingwe at the end of the season after joining Zambian Premier League side Nkana FC.
But Oduro, who became the first Ghanaian to have held such a post at AFC Leopards, has promised to repay the faith bestowed on him by the club with a dedicated service.
“I’m happy and proud to be club vice-captain. It’s not easy for a foreigner to get such a role.
“I will do all my best to help my mate's so that we can do something this season. We are ready to fight hard this season to have something this,” Oduro said on a social media post.
AFC Leopards are set to kick off their campaign against Kariobangi Sharks in Machakos.
