An Ephrem Guikan hat-trick, a Lawrence Juma strike and an own goal was enough to see K'Ogalo go through

Gor Mahia qualified to the next stage of Shield Cup after downing minnows Kenpoly 5-0 in a match played at Kenyatta Stadium on Wednesday.

An Ephrem Guikan hat-trick, a Lawrence Juma strike and an own goal was enough to see the Dylan Kerr side match into the round of sixteen and a realistic chance of going all the way to the finals.

Enroute to the round of thirty two, K'Ogalo had eliminated Mombasa-based side SS Assad while Kenpoly had undone Savannah Cement FC.

Meanwhile, at Afraha Stadium, Kakamega Homeboyz failed to turn up for their match against Ulinzi Stars. A decision on the outcome of the match will hence be made in due course.
