EXTRA TIME: Watch Roland Putsche ice his leg in the snow

The Cape Town City midfielder is playing it by the doctor's orders. Or is he?

Technically, Roland Putsche is keeping his injured leg cool, but he should be wary not to catch cold.

While out injured, the Citizen's player has returned home to Austria for rehabilitation. We are in the middle of March, and after a blistering snowy winter season in Europe, the snow just keeps falling in Austria.

It's been a remarkable change for Putsche, who is used to the sunny climate in South Africa at this time of year, while he plays in the Premier Soccer League.

Back in February, Putsche suffered a meniscus tear when Cape Town City beat Highlands Park 3-0.

The Austrian is expected to only be back in action next season.
