After a marathon game of tennis that almost clocked five hours, the forward applauded the duo for their top performance

Nigeria international Sone Aluko has praised Rafael Nadal and Gilles Muller for their top display in Monday’s Wimbledon round of 16 match.

As a spectator that saw the game live, the Super Eagles forward expressed his delight and lauded both players for their effort and quality.

Muller stole the show after 4 hours, 48 minutes of play and sealed his spot in the quarter finals stage with a five-set thriller, that ended in 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 15-13.

Aluko described the duo as gladiators in an amphitheater after putting up a never ending show.

Perhaps, he might be right but how best would you describe the epic match in your words?
