After notching 15 goals in 27 league appearances in the Chinese topflight, the 28-year-old forward toasted to a great campaign

Changchun Yatai attacker Odion Ighalo celebrated his dazzling form in the just concluded Chinese Super League season.

Despite missing out of the final league game due to injury, the Development Area Stadium outfit defeated Beijing Guoan 2-1 on Saturday and finished seventh on the log with 44 points from 30 games.

The Nigeria international who joined Chen Jingang’s men from Watford in January, stood out as the club’s topscorer after garnering 15 goals out of a club total of 41 goals in the league.

Ighalo is pleased with his achievement in his debut season in China but expressed his disappointment with the setback that will keep him away from international duty for the Super Eagles.
