Ex-Enugu Rangers midfielder Chinedu Udeagha completes Enyimba switch

The former Flying Antelopes’ player has become the People’s Elephant’s fourth signing of the season

Enyimba have announced the signing of Chinedu Udeagha after the player's contract with Enugu Rangers ran out.

Midfielder Udeagha joins the former Nigeria Professional Football League Champions as a free agent.

The People's Elephants sporting director, Jude Anyadufu reveals they are engaging in massive recruitment of quality players to help the team perform well in the upcoming league season and also in the Caf Confederation Cup.

“We can confirm the signing of Chinedu and he is joining us after finishing his contract with Rangers. We have been tracking him for long and we are happy that he has agreed to become one of us. He is a good player and of good character too. It was not difficult at all asking him to come here as soon as it is made known that he is free," Anyadufu told Goal .

“He is to help us along with other players to realize our objective of doing well in both the league and on the continent. We are not yet done with the acquisition of good players because we want to make a bold statement in the coming season.

“We hope he will bring the necessary dynamism we desire in the midfield position,” he concluded.

The recruitment of Udeagha brings to four the number of players signed by the Aba side. The other three"Austin Oladapo, Nasiru Sani and Yinka Onaolapo were poached from Gombe United, Katsina United and Nasarawa United respectively.
