Ernest Wendo missing as Gor Mahia departs for Tanzania

Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr departed for Tanzania with a strong squad ahead of the Caf Confederation Cup return leg match against Yanga.

The squad includes Ivorian Ephraim Guikan, who scored a brace in the opening leg as well as George Odhiambo, who missed the game in Nairobi.

The squad also has KPL player of the month of June and club leading scorer, Jacques Tuyisenge as well as first-choice goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch.

The 18-man squad is led by captain Haron Shakava, through midfielder Ernest Wendo will miss his second continental match for K'Ogalo.

Wendo, who missed the opening leg is still recovering from an injury picked at the Cecafa Kagame Cup

Defender Wellingtone Ochieng, who returned from an injury recently and Kevin Omondi are missing.
