Sheriff Ejalonibu says that Anwal Islam controlled '80 percent' of their GTBank Masters Cup quarterfinal encounter against Kings' College.
A Mustapha Zubair 26th minute strike proved enough for Anwar Islam as they edged past their counterparts at the Onikan Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
And the captain of the side believes that the scoreline did not reflect their influence in the game.
"I'm very happy for the win although we lost so many chances we came out victorious," Ejalonibu told Goal.
"My team played about 80 percent of the game while our oppositions had the remaining 20, so it's hard to believe that we couldn't get more goals past them.

"Going forward I expect another win that'll shoot us to the final."
Recounting his toughest challenge in the competition, the left back says: "That was our first match against St. Finbarr they defeated us 6-2.
"So when we went back we trained so hard and came back more determined. And that’s has been our motivation," he concluded.
