Daniel Arzani gives worrying update about his potential ACL knee injury

The talented Aussie was struck down only minutes into his senior debut with the Scottish giants

Talented Australian attacker Daniel Arzani has taken to social media with an update on his possible season-ending injury - and the signs aren't positive.

The 19-year-old was stretchered off only 20 minutes after coming on for his Hoops debut during their 5-0 win over Dundee on Thursday morning (AEDT).

Early reports have suggested the Socceroo prodigy has likely suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee injury, but scans are yet to officially determine the extent of the issue.

However Arzani used his Instagram account iamdanielarzani to communicate with fans about the injury - posting a picture of himself in a knee brace about to climb stairs with the caption "will I make it?"

Arzani's injury is likely to rule him out of the Socceroos' upcoming November friendlies against South Korea and Lebanon, and also the green and gold's Asian Cup title defence in January 2019.

Second-place Celtic play Scottish Premier League leaders Hearts on Sunday (AEDT) with the hope of closing the current four-point gap between the two teams.
