The England captain is one of four modern footballers whose journey is being celebrated by BOSS Parfums..

If you love your classical strikers, you probably adore Harry Kane. The Tottenham and England centre-forward has been ripping it up for club and country in the past three years.

Having won the coveted Golden Boot twice already along with a staggering six Premier League Player of the Month awards, it is hard to believe that the London-born striker is still only 24.

Already one of the most complete strikers in the game, Kane has come a long way since the days he was tearing it up for Tottenham’s academy. Despite his goal-scoring feats in junior categories, Kane had to wait for his chance to make it at the senior level for a long time.

After loan spells at then Championship clubs Millwall, Leyton Orient, Norwich City and Leicester, Kane returned to White Hart Lane to score his first senior goal for Tottenham in 2014. The rest, they say, is history with Kane grabbing the opportunity with both hands.

He has already been earmarked as England’s next superstar and has been proclaimed as the natural successor to Wayne Rooney. Now, he is undisputedly the flag-bearer of English football and should continue to do so for the best part of the next decade.

Now, he leads the hopes of England in Russia in their quest of a second world title and if his most recent goal-scoring feat in the Premier League is anything to go by, defenders will hate having to face-up to this classical centre-forward.

Though he is now reaching for the stars, Kane knows that things have not been handed to him on a golden plate.

“I have become the player I am today through dedication. You must be professional and work harder than the rest to make it to the top,” he says.

Never knowing when to quit is one of his most admirable traits and it is his father whom he credits for instilling that elite mentality.

“I used to go to the park with my dad and brother to practice when I was a child and my dad instilled the mentality in me to keep going and never give up, even when things don’t go your way,” says Kane.

A top professional, success on the field is not the only thing the Englishman is chasing. For him, making a difference need not be restricted just to the football field but also in the lives of others who are not so privileged.

He has participated in a drive aimed at recruiting community volunteers at Noah’s Ark Hospice for differently-abled children, while also penning portraits of his Labradors, Wilson and Brady, to help the Blue Cross in its campaign to help poorly and homeless pets. Few appear are better suited to lead a Boss Bottled parfum campaign than England’s No.9, a footballer and a man who embodies the virtues of the modern man.

With such values, it is no surprise then that Kane is one of the four world-class stars whose journeys are being celebrated by Boss Parfums.
