Bernard Odhiambo saves Bandari embarrassment in a friendly

Bernard Odhiambo's second-half goal rescued Bandari from defeat against lower league side FC Talanta in a friendly played on Monday.

Talanta were poised for the shock win until Odhiambo stepped up with a late equalizer to make it 1-1 at Camp Toyoyo.

Talanta took the lead in the first through Martin Mwangi, who slotted home from the penalty spot. But Odhiambo rose to the occasion with an equalizer after powering in a well weighed cross from Abdallah Hamisi in the second half to save Bandari’s face.

The Dockers will face KCB in another build up match ahead of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League which will kick-off on February 3.

Bandari will begin their 2018 KPL campaign against Sofapaka.
