Aubameyang's winner against Burnley wins Arsenal Goal of the Month award

Aubameyang’s match-winning strike against Burnley has won the Arsenal Goal of Month award for August.

The Gabon international fired his 64th-minute effort past Nick Pope into the bottom-left corner to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead at the Emirates Stadium on August 17.

The victory secured Arsenal’s second Premier League win of the season after their opening league fixture against Newcastle United.

The 30-year-old won 35 percent of the total votes while Alexandre Lacazette's opener against Burnley came second and Aubameyang's winner against Newcastle United was third.

So far this season, Aubameyang has scored three goals in four league outings for Unai Emery’s side.

He will be hoping to continue his fine goalscoring form when Arsenal visit Vicarage Road for their next Premier League outing against Watford on September 15.
