Jali will be hoping to get a call up from new SA coach Stuart Baxter ahead of the 2019 Afcon qualifier against Nigeria next month

South Africa international Andile Jali's change in attitude and physical fitness has earned him a return to the first team at Belgian side KV Oostende.

This is according to Oostende head coach Yves Vanderhaeghe, who masterminded a 4-3 victory over Gent in Belgian First Division A match last weekend.

Jali played the entire match in the central midfield alongside Cameroon international Sebastien Siane, the Oostende captain.

“It helps that he has lost two kilograms‚" Vanderhaeghe was quoted on The Citizen.

"And one thing that is certain is the quality is definitely there‚” he continued.

“In training he has shown that he has regained his motivation and his smile," he concluded.

Jali, who featured for Bafana Bafana against Guinea-Bissau and Angola in friendly matches last March, has played 11 games in the Belgian First Division A this season.
