AFC Leopards set to honor Simba Day invite in Tanzania

AFC Leopards will travel to Tanzania for a friendly match against giants Simba SC to mark Simba Day commemoration.

Simba Day is celebrated annually by the Tanzanian outfit and is used to unveil new players, award outstanding ones and play a friendly against an invited club mostly from East Africa.

AFC Leopards chairman Dan Mule has revealed to Goal that the club will honour the invite. "The game will be played in mid-week and so it's easy for us because it will not interfere with our league schedule.

"I think it is also an opportunity for players, who haven't been playing much to showcase what they can do."

AFC Leopards featured in Simba Day exhibition match in 2016 where they lost 4-0 to the hosts.
