Ugandan utility man Musa Mudde will not be part of AFC Leopards squad for next season.
The midfielder was resigned in June last year from Bandari to rekindle the dying flame of Ingwe but coach Robert Matano feels the player is surplus to requirements. Club chairman Dan Mule has confirmed the departure of the player alongside two others.
"Mudde has been released alongside Ramadhan Yakubu, and Allan Kateregga whose contract with the club expires end of this month. The coach opted against working with them next season, and as the management we decided to implement his recommendations.
"We have given him a free hand, because we want results next season, we want to see the team perform better,” Mule told Goal on Monday.
AFC Leopards have already made it clear that next season will not be business as usual in the Kenyan Premier League.
