UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Bournemouth are next in action against Chelsea on the road next Saturday in the Premier League, while Liverpool face Salzburg during the week in the Champions League.
Liverpool's march towards the Premier League crown continues with a 3-0 dismantling of Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium. It took time to score the opener, but once it came through Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as he latched on to Jordan Henderson's brilliant ball over the top, it was a routine three points for the visitors. Mohamed Salah's sublime backheel released Naby Keita to score the second with a poke into the corner. Keita then returned the favour in the second half to tee up Salah, who clipped his effort past Aaron Ramsdale. Liverpool were in cruise control from that point onwards and there was no need for them to force the issue, easing over the line. Bournemouth slipped to their fifth defeat on the bounce, and perhaps more worryingly for Eddie Howe they lost both Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson to injury. The festive period could be critical for the Cherries.
90' + 2' SAVE! Ramsdale denies Henderson at the death as he lines up a strike towards the bottom-left corner. The keeper does well to get down to make the stop.
90' There will be two minutes of added time.
88' OVER! Shaqiri tees up Jones for a strike on the edge of the box. The midfielder connects well with his effort, but it sails just over the bar.

81' Alexander-Arnold tries to line up a strike from the right flank, but he slices his attempt at goal.
79' OFFSIDE! The ball ricochets around the Bournemouth six-yard box following a cross by Milner that gets knocked back across the face of goal by Alexander-Arnold. Salah tries to connect, although the offside flag goes up against him.
78' Henderson almost releases Salah in the right inside channel, but Simpson reacts in time to clear the danger ahead of the forward.
C. Jones
A. Robertson
76' Jones replaces Robertson for the visitors. Milner will drop into left-back.
73' Liverpool have won their last four Premier League games against Bournemouth, by a margin of 3+ goals each time. They’ve never won five consecutive top-flight games against an opponent by such a margin before. Klopp and his men have a record to achieve this afternoon.
71' Liverpool are knocking the ball around at ease. This is a training session for the visitors.
69' SAVE! Ramsdale denies Salah with a fine stop at his near post. Alexander-Arnold and Henderson combine to release the forward. He races down the right flank before cutting inside to shoot on his left foot, but the Bournemouth keeper is equal to his effort.
68' BLOCK! Groeneveld speeds away down the right flank and he cuts inside to shoot on his left foot, only to see his effort blocked Van Dijk.
66' Lerma threads a ball through to Rico down the left inside channel and the low cross from the full-back is turned home by Groeneveld. However, the flag was up long before he converted for offside against Rico.
D. Gosling
C. Wilson

L. Cook
P. Billing
58' Cook comes on in the middle of the park for Biling.

Mohamed Salah
54' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! SALAH SCORES THIS TIME!!!! 3-0!!! Salah missed a good opportunity for a third goal before the interval, but on this occasion he converts. Keita returns the favour for the second goal by releasing the forward behind the Cherries' backline. Ramsdale races off his line, but the forward clips the ball past him with his left foot and it rolls into the bottom-right corner.
52' Liverpool are moving the ball around the pitch with ease. There's no pressure being provided by the home side.
50' SAVE! Robertson curls a cross the edge of the box for Firmino to flick on. Salah tries to take it in stride, but Biling makes the interception. It travels to Keita, who strikes first time on the volley, but he places his attempt straight at Ramsdale.
48' Firmino offloads under pressure in the box towards Alexander-Arnold, but Rico manages to close with a firm challenge to stop the strike.
46' We're back underway at Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth have offered next to nothing in the final third. They had one opening through Arnaut Groeneveld as he latched on to Ryan Fraser's cross, but he failed to guide his low strike on target. It's going to be an uphil challenge from here to force a positive result from this situation for the home side.
Liverpool are in complete control of the contest at the break, holding a 2-0 lead over Bournemouth in their Premier League clash. The early stages of the game were quiet, but the Reds exploded into life when Jordan Henderson released Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with a sublime pass to allow the midfielder to open the scoring. Naby Keita doubled the visitors' advantage with a close-range finish after collecting a sublime backheel from Mohamed Salah in the box. Salah should have made it three before the break, but he failed to keep his effort below the bar. The Cherries have been hanging on, but they appear to be on their way to a fifth defeat on the bounce.
45' + 3' IT SHOULD BE THREE!! Salah misses from close range as he cannot direct his effort down beneath the bar. Firmino flicks Alexander-Arnold's cross to the back post for his team-mate. The goal is gaping, but the Egytian cannot get over his strike and he blazes it over.
45' + 1' WIDE! Firmino advances with menace and shapes to shoot on the edge of the box, only to plant his left-footed attempt wide of the target.
45' There will be three minutes of added time.
Mohamed Salah
44' Salah is surrounded by Bournemouth defenders, but he produce a brilliant backheel for Keita to release the midfielder to score.
N. Keïta
44' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! KEITA FINDS THE NET!!!! LIVERPOOL 2-0!!!! The Reds take a huge stride towards another victory as Keita stabs the ball home from close range. The goal is all about Salah as he draws three players in coverage. However, the Egyptian pulls a rabbit out of the hat to release his team-mate with a sublime backheel in the box. Keita collects and pokes the ball with his right foot into the right side of the net.
41' Alexander-Arnold bursts down the right flank and he cuts the ball back to Firmino to strike. However, the ball deflects off Oxlade-Chamberlain and travels behind for a goal-kick.

A. Oxlade-Chamberlain
35' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN SCORES!!! 1-0 LIVERPOOL!!!! The Reds take the lead with a fine goal converted by Oxlade-Chamberlain. Oxlade-Chamberlain times his run to perfection to latch on to the precise delivery and he sticks out a boot to divert it past Ramsdale.
J. Simpson
N. Aké
35' Simpson replaces Ake for the home side in the backline.
33' Ake hurts himself in the process of making the challenge. He requires treatment before he can continue.
32' Ake makes a vital intervention at the back to stop Salah on the slide. Keita almost releases the forward with a pinpoint pass, but the Dutchman reacts to prevent an opening at goal.
29' Lerma almost releases Solanke through on goal, but the forward is well tackled by Van Dijk on the edge of the Liverpool box.
26' WIDE! Fraser clips a cross into the box and Groeneveld gets ahead of his man, but he can only steer his effort wide of the target.
25' WIDE! Salah is played over the top by Robertson, but his backheel towards Firmino fails to find the Brazilian. Robertson keeps the attack alive to feed Milner on the charge. The midfielder tries to find Salah, but his pass is blocked by Mepham. Milner collects the loose ball and goes for goal himself, bending his attempt just past the post.
23' The pace of the game is suiting the home side rather than the visitors at the moment. Klopp will be looking for an injection of pace from his team.
21' Liverpool clear their lines from the resulting corner. There has not been a quality delivery into the box as of yet from either side.
20' WIDE! Solanke runs at the Liverpool defence and he gets half a yard on Lovren to fire at goal, but the defender recovers to deflect it wide of the post.
19' Henderson fires a cross-field pass towards Robertson on the left flank, but he sends his first-time effort on the volley out for a goal-kick.
18' Biling is well placed once again for the home side to clear the danger from Gomez's cross into the middle.
17' Salah tries to weave his way through players down the right inside channel, but he loses out to Biling in the Bournemouth box.
15' Bournemouth have not shown much going forward yet. They're well aware of the pace of the Reds on the counter.
13' Firmino runs at the Bournemouth defence and tries to play in Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Francis does enough to put off the midfielder, who carries the ball out for a goal-kick.
12' Ake tries to lift the ball over the top for the run of Wilson, but the flag goes up for offside.
9' Oxlade-Chamberlain weaves his way through traffic in the final third, only to be halted by Mepham before he can pull the trigger on his strike.
7' SAVE! Milner works his way out of a tight space to find Gomez on the charge. He offload to Salah in the right inside channel and the forward takes a touch to open up space for a left-footed strike at goal. It does not have a great deal of power, allowing Ramsdale to make the stop.
5' Liverpool are trying to establish a possession game, but the visitors are making life difficult by applying a press on the white shirts as soon as they take a touch.
3' It has been a tentative start to the game from both sides. The visitors have seen more of the ball as expected.
1' We're underway at Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth are winless in their last five Premier League meetings with Liverpool (D1 L4) since beating them 4-3 in December 2016. The Cherries have conceded at least twice in each of their last seven against the Reds.
Klopp has rotated his options, making seven changes to the side that started the Merseyside derby. Salah and Firmino come back into the side to lead the line alongside Oxlade-Chamberlain. Mane drops to the bench with Shaqiri and Origi. Milner retains his place in the midfield, but Henderson and Keita are restored, with Adam Lallana missing out and Georginio Wijnaldum rested. Gomez replaces Alexander-Arnold at right-back, while Alisson returns from his suspension between the sticks.
Bournemouth have made two changes to their side from their defeat to Crystal Palace last time out. Adam Smith is injured and is replaced by Francis at right-back, while Harry Wilson is ineligible against his parent club so Fraser comes into the side on the right flank.
LIVERPOOL SUBS: Sadio Mane, Adrian, Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Curtis Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliott.
LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson; Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
BOURNEMOUTH SUBS: Artur Boruc, Dan Gosling, Andrew Surman, Jordon Ibe, Lewis Cook, Jack Stacey, Jack Simpson.
BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-2): Aaron Ramsdale; Simon Francis, Chris Mepham, Nathan Ake, Diego Rico; Ryan Fraser, Jefferson Lerma, Philip Billing, Arnaut Groeneveld; Callum Wilson, Dominic Solanke.
Jurgen Klopp's men continued their march at the top of the Premier League with a 5-2 hammering of their rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby during the week. A first-half onslaught all but decided the contest, extending their unbeaten run in the top flight to a club record 32 matches. The Reds hold an eight-point lead over Leicester at the top and looking dominant in their pursuit of the crown. Perhaps the one blight has been their defensive performances, although the quality of their attacking play has been more than a mitigating factor and it should continue this afternoon.
Bournemouth are plummeting down the Premier League table after losing their last four matches on the bounce. Eddie Howe's men are outside the relegation zone by a point and the one team they will not want to have seen this week is a rampant Liverpool side. The Cherries have not been able to stem the tide over the last month, although three of their losses have come on the road. They will need a special effort this afternoon to earn a positive result against the Reds.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Liverpool at Vitality Stadium.
