Wilfried Zaha has won Crystal Palace’s Player of the Month award for December.
The Cote d’Ivoire international played a crucial role as Roy Hodgson’s men maintained an impressive record of two wins, four draws and a loss in the month in review.
Zaha played in all of the Eagles’ seven league games and scored a goal which came in their 3-0 commanding win over Leicester City on December 16.
The former Manchester United forward amassed 68% of the total votes to clinch the monthly accolade for the third time after winning it in October and November.
With four goals in 16 league appearances this campaign, the forward is delighted with Crystal Palace’s recent progress in the English top-flight standings after battling in the relegation zone in the early part of the season.
"Our squad has too much talent in it to be down in the relegation zone so it’s good that we are putting the performances together and moving in the right direction,” Zaha told club website.
The Selhurst Park outfit are placed 14th in the league table with 22 points from 22 games.
