PSL and NFD clubs head into the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals with four semi-final spots up for grabs. Here's everything you need to know

The Nedbank Cup quarter-finals are due to take place this coming weekend, with four matches set to take centre-stage to decide who progresses to the semi-finals.

The eight successful teams will head into the last eight of the competition in an attempt to win South Africa's second lucrative Cup competition. 

Goal takes a look at everything you need to know ahead of the quarter-final matches.


WHEN ARE THE NEDBANK CUP QUARTER-FINAL MATCHES?

The first match of the quarter-final round will take place on Tuesday, March 27. 

Cape Umoya United will be at home against fellow National First Division side TS Galaxy with a spot in the semi-finals at stake.   

The second batch of the matches will take place on the 30th and 31st of March 2019. 


HOW CAN I WATCH THE NEDBANK CUP QUARTER-FINALS?


Kenya SuperSport cameras.

SuperSport TV and SABC 1 will show the matches live on their Television stations. 

With the SuperSport owning the rights to broadcast PSL matches, all the matches will be shown live on SS4, starting with the Cape Umoya United and TS Galaxy. 

The SABC will show all the weekend matches involving Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows, Bidvest Wits and Chippa United (all on Saturday) as well as Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City on Sunday.  


 

WHO ARE IN THE QUARTER-FINALS IS IN THE SECOND ROUND?

The likes of Bloemfontein Celtic, Kaizer Chiefs, Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits are among the teams hoping to make it into the next round. 

Interestingly, there can only be one winner between Amakhosi and City as the two teams will do battle for the final spot in the semi-finals on Sunday.

Also, at least one NFD team will be in the semi-finals - and it can either be Cape Umoya United or TS Galaxy.
