We'll get lot of money for Africa Women Cup of Nations win - Nigeria's Ordega

Francisca Ordega has revealed that getting 'a lot of money' motivates Nigeria to succeed at the Africa Women's Cup of Nations.

The Super Falcons have won the title for a record eight times and are hoping to clinch their ninth, with a semi-final win over Cameroon at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday will move them closer to the feat.

Having pocketed six thousand dollars each for two group stage wins, a triumph over the Cameroonians will see each player four thousand dollars richer with five thousand guaranteed if they win the title.

And the three-time winner, who was part of team's back-to-back final wins over the Indomitable Lionesses, assured that they will extend their winning run over their central Africans rivals.

"As a professional when things don't go your way you have to do more to make it up to your fans," Ordega told media.

"I think I will have love to do more but so far, so good, I am pleased with my game. I don't know much about them [Cameroon] but I know they have a lot of professionals like us and more physical than us and experienced too. Really, I don't want to know till we meet on the pitch on Tuesday.

"We get paid. We get a lot of money when we win [the tournament]. If you don't win [games], you don't get anything and as far as I am concerned the two games we have won, everything has been settled. So, that is the motivation. We are here to win and when you win, you have a lot of money in your pocket."
