The Kenyan Premier League mid-season transfer window will officially open on Friday, ushering in a period for clubs to strengthen their squads.
It is a norm for some clubs to lose key players, replacing them with the lesser effective ones or better ones depending on one's experience in the field.
Wazito FC is one such club expected to oversee mass exit of players and head coach Frank Ouna is already prepared for this.
"It usually happens all over the world, 'small teams' like us are will end up losing some key players to bigger teams.
"I cannot tell who is leaving right now, but one thing I am sure of is that we will lose a player or two in the transfer window.
"Yes, we will have to sign a few in order to be effective in the second leg, we have to replace whoever leaves."
Wazito have so far managed only 17 points from the top tier this season.
