Vitoria Guimaraes stun Yacine Brahimi’s Porto at home

Despite Yacine Brahimi getting them to a perfect start, Porto were handed a disgraceful 3-2 defeat by a determined Vitoria de Guimaraes in Saturday’s Portuguese top-flight encounter.

The league champions took the lead in the 37th minute through Brahimi after the winger combined well with Andre Pereira before letting fly from the edge of the area.

Pereira then made it two to ensure the hosts head into the break comfortably.

Six minutes after the interval, dangerman Brahimi - and Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar [61st minute] - was subbed off and things went south for the Dragons.

Andre Andre pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 63rd minute before strikes from Toze and Davidson earned a surprise comeback victory for Luis Castro’s men.

With their first defeat of the season, Porto have dropped to third in the log. And they will hope to bounce back when they square up against Moreirense next Sunday.
