The UCL Round of 16 draws to a close on Wednesday - but who will be crowned the Santander Player of the Week?

The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 will draw to a dramatic conclusion on Wednesday night as we discover the final two quarter-finalists.

But who will rise up above the rest and be crowned the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week, sponsored by Banco Santander?

Mats Hummels will attempt to shut out a rampant Liverpool frontline in Munich as his Bayern Munich side hope to build on their first-leg goalless draw at Anfield.

The former Borussia Dortmund man made a game-best six clearances as Bayern nullified Jurgen Klopp’s men. In a match where away goals could be key, the defender will have to be at his best to stop Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.

Barcelona, meanwhile, face a similar task as they host Lyon in the second leg at Camp Nou after they too came home with the tie goalless.

The Argentina international has been named UCL Player of the Week three times already this season and will be out to add to his impressive haul of six goals this term.
