DR Congo’s TP Mazembe are reportedly keen on signing Simba SC winger, Shiza Kichuya following his recent performances for club and country.
Reports making rounds from DR Congo claim that TP Mazembe officials who are believed to be longtime admirers of Kichuya where in attendance during the friendly game between Tanzania and DR Congo on Tuesday.
In the game which Tanzania won 2-0, Kichuya created the opening goal for Mbwana Samatta before scoring four minutes before the final whistle.
Kichuya who joined Simba from Mtibwa Sugar two years ago, is currently heading into the final months of his contract and is free to discuss terms with other clubs.
In his two seasons at Msimbazi, Kichuya has scored 19 goals and assisted 12, he also won the FA cup last season scoring the winning goal in extra time against Mbao FC in the finals.
Simba and TP Mazembe have a good relationship when it comes to players transfers, in 2011 TP Mazembe bought Simba’s Mbwana Samatta who went on to win the CAF Champions League with the club.
