Goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo is among the six players, who jetted out for Ethiopia ahead of Kenya's upcoming two-legged Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier.
The six were led by coach Sébastien Migné, who will have to wait until Monday to have a full house ahead of Wednesday’s clash.
Others early birds are Bandari’s Abdalla Hassan, Allan Wanga, Philemon Otieno and Francis Kahata. The rest of the local-based players are expected to jet out on Monday, with the foreign-based legion set to link up with the team in Ethiopia on the same day.
The match has been slated for Wednesday at the Bahir Dar Stadium, with the return leg set to be played on Sunday, October 14 at Kasarani.
