Sako delighted with Crystal Palace's first away victory of the season

Bakary Sako is delighted after helping Crystal Palace to a 3-0 surprise victory over Leicester City in Saturday's English Premier League clash.

The 29-year-old came on as a late substitute in place of Christian Benteke - scorer of the opening goal - and rounded off the tie with an injury-time curler. Cote d'Ivoire international Wilfried Zaha got the second goal of the game few minutes before the break.

And the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man who followed his first league goal in midweek's victory over Watford with another at the King Power Stadium has taken to the social media to revel in their maiden win away from home this season.

He tweeted: "Today was a good day... again!

"Happy with the three points and another goal but it's just the beginning of a long way proud of the boys."

Sako has been afforded a meagre 187 minutes in his 10 Premier League appearances and would hope his performance against the Foxes earn him a spot in Roy Hodgson's starting XI against Swansea City on December 23.

Crystal Palace are now unbeaten in their last seven top-flight encounters.
