Over 150 matches have been lined up as Chapa Dimba Football Tournament enters week two in Western Kenya.

Bungoma County will host the weekend games with a total of 153 matches set to be played across 51 venues on Saturday in Busia, Butere-Mumias, Teso, Mt. Elgon, and Bungoma.

The tournament that is in its second year, kicked off in Kakamega and Vihiga, last weekend.

The matches, which are being played in a round-robin format, will determine which teams qualify to the next phase of the tourney, with the overall winner in both the boys’ and girls’ categories set to represent Western Region in the National finals.

Legend FC, Super Eagles, Matende, Spitfire, and Mumboha Secondary are among the teams that are through to the next round after the preliminary round of matches staged last weekend.

The overall winner of the tourney in both the men and women categories will walk away with one million prize money.
