Following the completion of round three of the 2017 FA Cup, the draw for the quarter-final stage was held on Sunday morning and broadcast on Media Prima's TV9.

In the next round, Pahang will once again take on a team they have just played recently in the Super League; JDT. On March 3, the two sides met at Larkin, with the match ending in a 3-2 win to the home side. On Saturday, the Elephants defeated Melaka United in their round three FA Cup match, just two weeks after their league match, with a 2-0 scoreline.

The Southern Tigers are also the defending champions.

The winners between the Pahang-JDT tie will take on the winners of the tie between Sabah and Negeri Sembilan.

Meanwhile Kedah, having beaten Perak 2-0 also on Saturday, will take on another Perak-based side in the quarter-finals; Premier League's PKNP FC.

The winners of the tie will then meet Terengganu or Sarawak in the semi-final stage.

The quarter-final, semi-final and final matches will be played at home and away, with no further draws to be held.

Competition organiser Football Malaysia LLP (FMLLP) also revealed the dates for the fixtures.

The first leg of the quarter-finals will be held on March 31 or April 1, while the second leg will be held on April 21 or 22.

The first leg of the semis will be held on April 28 or 29, with the second leg matches held on May 12 or 13.

The final match will then be held on May 20, although the venue has yet to be revealed.
