Hearts of Oak coach Frank Elliott Nuttall is 'proud' of his team's performance despite being held to a 0-0 draw by Medeama on matchday two of Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Phobians came into the game on the back of an opening day draw with Inter Allies but were unable to record their first victory under the new coach who was confirmed on Thursday.

''I’m very impressed with the attitude of my players towards the tactics used in the game. I'm still assessing the players and looking at what they can give in the season. I have not yet seen some of the players in a game or the full 90 minutes but it is still early days for that,'' Nuttall said.

''I’m absolutely satisfied with the players I have currently and I trust the judgement of the managers who recruited some of the players. The supporters wanted us to win and I understand their demands but we will try and make amends in the next game. Very soon, we will fully take off and everyone will be happy. There are more games to play so I'm not worried," he added.

Hearts are now ninth on the log with two points, four points behind leaders Aduana Stars. They will travel to Cape Coast on Wednesday to lock horns with Ebusua Dwarfs.
