Nigeria draw Senegal, Libya and Tanzania in 2018 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations

Nigeria will face reigning champions Senegal, Libya and debutants Tanzania in Group B of the 2018 African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Supersand Eagles, who finished as runners-up at the last edition in Lagos in 2016 qualified for the biennial beach soccer tournament without kicking a ball alongside Senegal and Egypt.

The draw ceremony held at the Caf Headquarters, Cairo on Sunday saw hosts Egypt drawn against Morocco, 2015 champions Madagascar and Ivory Coast in Group A.

Sharm El Sheikh, a city in Sinai Peninsula, on the coastal strip along the Red Sea in Egypt will host the premier beach soccer competition which spans from December 9 - 14, 2018.

While hosts Egypt will open their outing against Morocco in Sharm El Sheikh on December 9, Nigeria will begin their quest to reclaim the title with a big encounter against holders Senegal.

Egypt 2018 will be the third edition of the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations and the winners and runners-up of the event qualify to the 2019 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay.
