Mbao FC Head Coach Etienne Ndayiragije has moved on to speak on his future and revealed that he is ready to be sacked due to bad result in Premium League games this seasons if the team’s management decide that’s the course of action they want to proceed with.
Mbao are currently in a relegation battle in the Premium League after a dismal run that has seen them lose their last five games, a run that has led fans to blame the coach’s technique.
The Burundian coach admitted to Goal that the results have been bad for his team but the problem is they have played many games without enough time to rest and most of the games have been away from home.
“If the management wants to sack me, then I am ready for that but the problem with my squad is the bad run of fixtures, because the gap between game and game is too close and we travel for long trips. We do not get enough time to rest before games”, said Ndayiragije
“As the coach, I hope Mbao still have a chance to remain in the Premium League next season, because we have five home games, I hope we can get result to escape the relegation” said Ndayiragije.
Mbao FC currently sit 13th in the Premium League table with 19 points from 22 games played and have a unwanted record of being the first team to ship in 30 goals while scoring only 21 goals.
