Modern Coast Rangers coach Abdulnassir Kassim has rued loss of concentration during the team’s 1-2 loss to Nakuru All Stars on Friday.

Kassim revealed the opponents scored the equalizer and added the winning goal within a span of five minutes. “We were first to score in the 20th minute. The opponents restored parity in the 50th minute before stretching the lead five minute later. I blame it all on concentration lapse.”

However, the coach lauded his boys for the performance despite the defeat.

“I am happy with the team’s display so far despite losing to Nakuru All Stars. The players have done a tremendous job comparing to the previous season. We will try our level best to finish top five come end of first leg.”

With the results Modern Coast Rangers have dropped one placed to seventh position on the 19 team NSL log with 27 points from 17 matches.

Rangers will host Administration Police in their last first leg match scheduled for Saturday, June 2.
