Francis Kimanzi charges made their intentions known early enough with a perfect display that overwhelmed the visitors, who had picked a 3-2 win in their last outing against Wazito.

Mathare United just needed 22 minutes to hit the back of the net courtesy of Cliff Nyakeya, who finished off a Ronald Reagan cross.

The creator became the scorer nine minutes after the restart, this time round controlling a cleverly pass from Roy Okal’s free-kick to double the advantage. At Sudi Stadium, Nzoia Sugar managed to win the bragging rights after downing Vihiga United by a solitary goal.

The lone goal came early in the first half when the visitors conceded a free-kick that was taken by Festus Okiring, and Brian Otieno did well to hit the back of the net.

In Awendo, Bandari FC made it six wins in a row after downing hard fighting Sony Sugar by the same margin.

Striker Wycliffe Ochomo made it two goals in a row, albeit from the bench, to extend the Dockers unbeaten run to twelve games.
