Posta Rangers came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw away to Thika United in a league match on Saturday.
The Nicholas Muyoti led side started the match well and went ahead courtesy of Mwinyi Kibwana in the 35th minute. It was a wake up call for the mail men, who reacted by putting a good fight back, only to concede another goal by the same player ten minutes later.
It was game over for the visitors as many could have thought, but the Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo led side had different ideas. After half an hour mark, ex-Ulinzi Stars man, who at some time played for Thika United John Nairuka, pulled one goal back for the visitors before new signing Kennedy Otieno, made it 2-2 in stoppages.
This is the first time Posta Rangers have scored more than one goal this season, considering many matches have ended 1-1, 1-0 or so in their favour. Elsewhere, Chemelil Sugar came from a goal down to emerge 2-1 winners against Nzoia Sugar.
Masita Masuta gave his side a deserved lead in the 18th minute after connecting a Boniface Omondi cross. Two minutes after the break, Kevin Mwita leveled matters for the sugar millers before Vicor Majid converted from the spot, after Mwita had been fouled in the 18 yard box by Victor Omondi.
Coach Juma Abdalla will however, thank his custodian Jairus Adira for the saves made, with Bernard Mwalala ruing missed chances by his charges.
