Kenya’s Emerging Stars will take on Sudan in the second round of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Sudan confirmed their place into the next stage after edging out Seychelles on a 2-1 aggregate victory in the first round of qualifiers.
They will now face off with Kenya, who thumped eight goals against Mauritius' one, as both sides prepare to face off for a place in the 2019 Afcon finals set to be staged in Egypt. Top three teams in the finals will represent Africa in the 2020 Olympic games.
Sudan forced a 1-0 win over Seychelles on Tuesday to progress after both sides settled for a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
The winner of this round will take on either Nigeria or Libya in the third and final round of qualification.
The Emerging Stars coach Francis Kimanzi urged his players to focus ahead of the game with the Mathare United tactician calling for a clean sheet against their opponent.
