U20 World Cup: Kayode Olanrewaju of Nigeria celebrates
The Austria based striker has promised to offer his services to the Eagles unbridled if fielded against Stuart Baxter's men

Olanrewaju Kayode has promised to give his best if fielded against the South Africa in Saturday’s 2019 AFCON qualifier.

He scored 17 goals from 33 games for his Austrian club in the just concluded season to earn the topscorer prize, and he is hoping to offer his best for the Eagles against the South Africans if he is given playing time.

“I am happy to be in the Eagles because it has always been my dream to play for my country. I will always give my best to the team if called upon against South Africa. We are going for a win and no matter the players used I am sure we are going to beat them,” Kayode told Goal.

“My form for my club last season was fantastic and I am hoping to bring that to the national team and ensure that we start our AFCON qualifiers well with a home win. I don’t know anything about my future for now.”

Kayode made his debut for the Eagles in March this year after he came on in the second half of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Senegal in London.
