Akwa United will now take on Katsina United on April 2 instead of the initial April 1, the league oganisers have confirmed.
The League Management Company approved the Promise Keepers’ appeal for a one-day shift of the encounter.
According to the LMC Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar, the change was evident to accommodate travel hassles involving the clubs.
He also revealed that other fixtures remain as scheduled as the cracker between Plateau United and MFM FC League would not be part of the regular Matchday 13 fixtures that hold on Sunday across eight other venues.
Plateau United are home to a Tunisian side while MFM travel to Algeria for the return leg of their fixture.
