Lebese completed his transfer to the Tshwane giants in January and he made his debut during Matsatsantsa's 3-2 win over Golden Arrows on Sunday.
“Both Macuphu and Lebese have already made their mark. I don’t doubt that they will make us a better team than what we were before,” said Tembo to reporters.
“I am not saying this because I undermine the players we had in the team, but I cannot hide my happiness after getting players who bring something new in the team,” he continued.
Ex-Jomo Cosmos forward Macuphu, who joined SuperSport on loan from Wits, scored on debut against Arrows, while former Kaizer Chiefs winger Lebese was introduced in the second half.
“The way Macuphu holds the ball is unbelievable and it doesn’t matter how many defenders are around him. On the other hand, Lebese brings a wealth of experience and makes a number of things look easy,” added Tembo.
“What I see of him (Lebese) in training has impressed me, but the only problem is that he has not grasped our style and philosophy as yet,” said the former midfielder.
“I am sure SuperSport will continue to move up on the log table by the time he grasps our rhythm. They both give us a lot that is why we are happy to have them in the team,” he concluded.
