CR7 has arrived in Italy and it is the Argentine who is at the top of the outgoings wishlist as the Old Lady restructure ahead of the new campaign

Juventus are prioritising the sale of Gonzalo Higuain following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Allianz Stadium, Goal can confirm.

The €100 million transfer of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner from Real Madrid was confirmed a little over a week ago, leaving the Old Lady with some decisions to make.

Juve feel that they have done the bulk of the legwork with regards to balancing their books, but are now looking at freeing up some extra cash to play around with.

Amongst those the Serie A champions are willing to part with are 25-year-old midfielder Stefano Sturaro and 23-year-old winger Marko Pjaca, who has returned from his loan with Schalke in Germany.

Both players are valued at around €20 million by the Turin club.

Another player whose future is up in the air is 23-year-old centre-back Daniele Rugani, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, with the club seemingly willing to let go of a fairly young talent who has spent six years at the club.

Nevertheless, Higuain's sale remains Juventus' priority with Ronaldo set to slot into the striker role.

No official offers have been received thus far for the Argentina striker, though Chelsea and AC Milan are closely monitoring the situation.

Should the clubs go toe-to-toe, it's likely that the Premier League side would come out on top due to Maurizio Sarri's close relationship with the player, forged during their time at Napoli.

Juventus are hopeful that they can sell Higuain for €65m, but could go as low as €60m expedite a deal and free up funds.

Whatever happens, after two seasons, 105 appearances and 55 goals, it is almost certain that Higuain will not be donning the famous black and white colours in the 2018-19 campaign.
