Legendary Joe Kadenge is set to pass 'blessings' and piece of advice to Vihiga United players as they prepare to debut in the Kenyan Premier League this season.
And with the new status that comes with playing in the top flight, Kadenge says that some younger players may 'lose their heads' if they don't to get advice from former players like him on how to cope with the new found ‘celebrity’ status.
“I never knew that Vihiga (County) had a lot of talents, after me. During my time, you could literally count the number of players from Vihiga but that is not the case right now.
“I would like to meet (Vihiga United) players and pass blessings as they progress to the KPL and try to motivate them with some words of wisdom,” Kadenge told Goal.
Kadenge, who hails from Vihiga County, is set to have a joint sitting with Vihiga players when he returns from a one week trip to the United Kingdom next week.
Kadenge will visit Manchester United's Old Trafford as part of a documentary being put together to explore his rich history and heritage of Kenyan football.
