The Indian women's team have fallen to 60th spot in the latest edition of the FIFA world rankings, down four places from their previous ranking of 56.

Though India did not lose any ranking point (1404), other teams around them such as Peru and Iran performed well and leapfrogged them.

To add to it, India suffered three big defeats to higher-ranked North Korea, South Korea and Uzbekistan in the FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers in Pyongyang.

Though the eves beat Hong Kong, it was not enough to prevent them from crashing out of the tournament, which has had an impact on their ranking.

On the global scene, USA have regained the top spot from Germany while the best mover was Chile who jumped an incredible 76 places to reach the 40th spot.
