The goals took the forward’s tally in cup competitions to five in six cup games for the Foxes. New signing, Fousseni Diabate and Wilfred Ndidi were also on target.

After the euphoria that surrounded the Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United, it would have been a massive let down had the Chilean not featured in the Red Devil’s FA Cup fourth round game at Yeovil Town. Jose Mourinho got the memo, and in playing him against the League Two outfit gave United fans the opportunity to catch a glimpse of their latest acquisition. Alexis did not disappoint either, as he gave a pretty good performance in his first appearance for the club as United eased into the fifth round with a 4-0 win.

There may have been a bit of VAR controversies at Anfield when Liverpool hosted West Bromwich Albion, but that should not take anything away from the massive upset that ensued on Merseyside. Having gone behind to a Roberto Firmino strike early on, the Baggies raced into a 3-1 lead thanks to Jay Rodriguez' brace and Joel Matip’s own goal. The Reds managed to pull one back through Mohamed Salah, but they were unable to change the tides as they bowed out of the FA Cup.

Nigeria qualified for the 2018 Fifa U-20 Women's World Cup after they annihiliated visitors South Africa 6-0 in their second leg, third round clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday. Christopher Danjuma’s ladies scored four goals in the space of the 26 minutes and led 5-0 after only 32 minutes, then struck once in the second half to qualify 8-0 on aggregate.

After Real Madrid’s humiliating Cup exit to Leganes during the week, the pressure was turned up on Zinedine Zidane and his side. However, Los Blancos got a huge 4-1 victory to ease the pressure on their manager with a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo will captain Marcelo and Toni Kroos sealed victory for the Santiago Bernabau giants.

Going behind to Alaves would not have been in Ernesto Valverde’s script, but having trailed to a John Guidetti strike at halftime, Blaugrana may have feared their unbeaten run in the league was coming to an end. Nonetheless, Luis Suarez and a late Lionel Messi free-kick saw the hosts past the strugglers as it ended 2-1 in Catalonia.

Five goals from different scorers (Robert Lewandowaki, Jerome Boateng, Kingsley Coman, Arturo Vidal and Sandro Wagner) made victory even as Jupp Heynckes’ side sealed their seventh league win on the bounce in the process.
