Hearts of Oak new coach Frank Nuttall has admitted his excitement after joining the club in a two-year deal, insisting there will be an improvement in the club's campaign this season.
The Phobians last won the league title in 2009 and have appointed more than seven coaches in the last four seasons as a result. However, the former Gor Mahia manager says he has gained a lot of experiences after coaching in different countries, to handle the pressure that comes with the role as head coach of the Phobians.
"I am happy to be here and believe that things will work as expected. I have read and heard a lot about the club and I'm willing to lead the new era,'' Nuttall said.
''I know that Hearts fans are very passionate, especially when the results are not coming as they were expecting but I can cope with the pressure at the club. I have witnessed such instances before at other former clubs but I will do my best to handle such scenarios so that we can progress.
"We aim at winning the league trophy and I will do my best. Coaches have several names that they are referred to but you can call me the boring one," he added.
Nuttall will play his first game this weekend when the Phobians lock horns with Medeama on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium. They shared the spoils goalless with city rivals Inter Allies on opening day in Tema.
