With speculation linking him with a move away from Real Madrid and now a five-match ban to contend with, it has been an eventful summer for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal star looks set to pocket his fifth Ballon d'Or later this year and will be hoping to further capitalise on Madrid's current dominance by successfully defending La Liga and the Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 in Funchal on the Portuguese island of Madeira and is currently 32 years old.
2. HOW MUCH IS RONALDO WORTH?
Ronaldo's net worth is estimated to be somewhere in the range of £200 million to £250m.
According to Forbes, Ronaldo earned more than any other athlete on the planet in 2016 at $88m (£72m). He placed joint-fourth on their list of the top 100 celebrities behind singer Taylor Swift, band One Direction (who were counted together as a group) and author James Patterson.
Lionel Messi placed eighth, on $81.5m (£67m), and LeBron James was 11th at $77m (£63m).
When Ronaldo's accounts were published amid the controversy over his tax affairs, they revealed an income of over £190m before tax in 2015. Twenty million of that was made in Spain, which lines up with reports of a £365,000-a-week wage at Real Madrid.

He joined Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 in a deal said to have been worth €94m (then £80m), which was a world record at the time.
Ronaldo has since made nearly 400 appearances in all competitions for Madrid, scoring at better than a goal-per-game rate, and has won La Liga twice and the Champions League three times.
At United, he won three Premier League titles and his first Champions League having joined the club from Portuguese side Sporting, where he came through the youth ranks, in 2003.
Ronaldo has won 143 caps for Portugal at the time of writing, scoring 75 goals and winning the European Championship in 2016.

At the time of writing, Ronaldo has scored 530 club goals and 75 international goals for a total of 605 in 864 games.
In the club game, the bulk of his goals - 407 - have been scored for Real Madrid, with 118 netted for United and just five for Sporting before he was snapped up by the Red Devils.
Though completely accurate historical records are hard to find, we do know that Ronaldo is the all-time top goalscorer in Europe's top-five leagues (England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany).
He has won the European Golden Shoe four times, the Premier League Golden Boot once and the Pichichi Trophy for the top scorer in La Liga on three occasions.
6. WHO IS BETTER: MESSI OR RONALDO?

That's a matter of opinion.
Right now, Ronaldo and Madrid are enjoying as much success as ever having won back-to-back Champions League titles and few would argue that the Portuguese did not deserve the Ballon d'Or in 2016.
Messi remains the only player in history to win the Ballon d'Or five times, but that is likely to change with Ronaldo adding his fifth later this year. He is the heavy favourite in the betting.
The argument for Messi stems from the fact that his goalscoring record is better than Ronaldo's - Messi has 519 goals in 617 club games while Ronaldo has 530 in 721 - and he is, most would agree, a more creative and visionary player.
But Ronaldo did not have the luxury of coming through the system at Barcelona or playing in the magical Pep Guardiola team that dominated European football.
The fact that Ronaldo has now matched Messi for Champions League wins despite that and also landed a major international honour in the European Championship - despite Portugal being a much smaller country than Argentina - has led many to claim that his is the more impressive career.
7. HOW MUCH DOES RONALDO MAKE A WEEK?
Ronaldo is reported to make £365,000 a week at Madrid, which brings his annual salary up to around £19m. That contract will run until 2021.
He makes much more than that overall, though, when his endorsements and business ventures are added into the equation. Forbes say he earned £72m in 2016 - more than any other athlete on the planet.
8. IS RONALDO GOING TO MAN UTD?
For now, Ronaldo looks set to stay in Madrid.
Rumours earlier in the summer suggested Ronaldo was so unhappy with the Spanish authorities' pursuit of a tax case against him that he was considering quitting the Spanish club and seeking a move elsewhere - most likely back to United in England.
That speculation seems to have cooled, however, and it would now seem to be late in the transfer window for a deal of that magnitude to be pulled off.
It would cost an enormous amount to get him due to the precedent set by Neymar's €222m (£202m) move to Paris Saint-Germain. Ronaldo's own release clause reportedly stands at €1 billion (£911m), which makes it impossible to meet.
9. WHERE WAS RONALDO BORN?
Ronaldo was born in Funchal on the island of Madeira, which is part of Portugal.
He has one brother and two sisters, all of whom are older than him, and was given the name 'Ronaldo' due to his father's admiration of American president Ronald Reagan (his actual surname is dos Santos Aveiro).
He played for the amateur team Andorinha, where his father was the kit man, before joining the academy of Nacional, one of the main clubs in Madeira. Then he was spotted by Sporting at age 12 and moved to Lisbon for a fee of £1,500.
