Rob Holding has aired his disappointment at seeing Arsenal’s winning run come to an end and called on the Gunners to cut out the slow starts which are causing them unnecessary problems.
Unai Emery’s side headed to London rivals Crystal Palace on Sunday buoyed by a sequence of 11 successive victories across all competitions.
Premier League title talk had started to build behind those successes, with positive progress also made in the Carabao Cup and Europa League.
Arsenal were, however, brought back down to earth after being held to a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park.
That contest once again saw the Gunners stumble out of the blocks, but despite recovering to lead at one stage they were unable to get over the line on this occasion.
Holding told the club’s official website on an unfortunate habit picked up by Emery’s troops: “We’ve come out in the second half in our past few matches and really turned on the style and scored some goals.
“We just need to start a bit faster and play how we do in the second half. That’s something to work on for the next game.
“It’s the end of the winning run and we’re disappointed with that, but as long as we don’t lose, it’s one of them.
“They had a couple of penalties and apparently our second goal was handball, but I haven’t seen anything yet. It was an entertaining game for the fans I suppose, but we’re disappointed not to keep that winning streak going.”

Arsenal saw two reckless challenges from Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka hand Luka Milivojevic opportunities to step up to the spot in either half.
He converted both of those chances, leaving Arsenal to seek inspiration of their own in the final third.
Xhaka crashed home a spectacular free-kick to get them back into the game, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bundled over the line after Alexandre Lacazette appeared to flick on with his hand.
Having got their noses in front Arsenal have every right to feel disappointed, but Emery conceded afterwards that a draw was probably a fair result and his attention can now shift to a Carabao Cup clash with Blackpool on Wednesday and a visit from unbeaten Liverpool next weekend.
