Harambee Stars kicked-off the Hero Cup campaign with a victory against New Zealand

Harambee Stars pocketed Sh2.5 million (USD25000) for finishing second in the just concluded Hero International Cup in India.

Stars went down 2-0 against the hosts in the final at the Mumbai Sports Arena on Sunday thanks to a brace from Indian captain Sunil Chhetri.

Sunil gave India the lead in the eighth minute, then completed the job in the 29th minute with a right foot strike to hand India the trophy and Sh5 million (USD 50000) cheque.

Kenya reached the final after beating Chinese Taipei 4-0 n the final group match having made amends of the lose to India in the second match.

Harambee Stars kicked-off the Hero Cup campaign with a victory against New Zealand. But India completed a double over Sebastien Migne men who lost  3-0 in the first encounter.
